Thursday, Feb. 26: The Department of Theater continues its winter main stage production, a fresh take on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Directed by Professor of Theater Peter Hackett ’75, the show starts at 8 p.m. , , and , and at 2 p.m. on in the Moore Theater at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. Friday’s performance will be followed by a with Hackett and members of the cast.
Thursday, Feb. 26: V-February presents “Upstaging Stereotypes,” a student-created that blends performance and story sharing as a means to dismantle stereotypes and give a firsthand perspective of manhood on campus, at 7 p.m. in Collis Common Ground.
Friday, Feb. 27: Frederick Wiseman’s documentary film National Gallery, an inside look at one of the world’s great museums, the National Gallery in London, at 7 p.m. in the Loew Auditorium of the Black Family Visual Arts Center.
Saturday, Feb 28: The presents works by Copland, Gershwin, and Dvořák at 8 p.m. in the Hopkins Center’s Spaulding Auditorium.
Sunday, March 1: The presents pianist Chonghyo Shin and violinist Michelle Liechti performing works by Brahms, Beethoven, Bach, and Debussy. The music begins at 4 p.m. in the Hopkins Center’s Faulkner Recital Hall.
Monday, March 2: Financial Times journalist Geoff Dyer, author of Contest of the Century: the New Era of Competition with China, at noon in the General Motors Classroom in Byrne Hall at the Tuck School of Business.
Tuesday, March 3: Soil ecologist Diana Wall gives her Montgomery Fellowship , “Soil Biodiversity in the Cold: Life in the Antarctic Dry Valleys,” at 4:30 in Filene Auditorium at Moore Hall. Wall is in residence as a Montgomery Fellow from Feb. 28 through March 7.
Tuesday, March 3: V-February presents “Voices,” a performance platform for self-identified women of the Dartmouth community to share their stories and experiences through various means of artistic expression. “Voices” begins at 7 p.m. on and in the Moore Theater at the Hopkins Center.
