From Matthew Moniz ’20 fulfilling his childhood dream of climbing Mount Everest to Jhon Ortiz ’20 receiving a Meritorious Honor Award from the U.S. State Department to Sam Greenberg ’20 and Amy Guan ’20 pitching in to help others during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Class of 2020 has as many stars as it has members.
The pandemic may have caused their graduation ceremony to go virtual, but it can’t take the shine off their many accomplishments, the promise of their future, and the lasting effect they’ve had on Dartmouth. As the seniors prepare for Celebrating the Moment, the virtual degree conferral ceremony that will take place June 14, Dartmouth News gathered together some of the many stories written about the adventures and awards of the Class of 2020.
